Classically made with bourbon, the mint julep is a simple recipe equally suited to other whiskies, too.
Ingredients
- 2 oz Bourbon
- ½ oz Mint Proof Syrup
- Mint Leaves to Garnish

Mixing Glass
Bar Spoon
Strainer
Julep Cup (or Rocks Glass)
Steps
- Measure bourbon and Proof Syrup into mixing glass; add ice and stir until well combined.
- Strain into ice-filled julep cup.
- Garnish with mint leaves.
