Proof Maple Bacon Old Fashioned Cocktail Syrup is made by combining our aromatic bitters with hickory smoked oleo saccharum, the smokiest bacon we could find, Vermont maple syrup, and a pinch of salt. The resulting cocktail is smokey and elevated, yet able to be made anywhere.
Each bottle makes 32 cocktails.

I loved it so much that I thought “Maple and Bacon”...what’s not to love there? Well, while I love the Maple....I don’t get the Bacon. It just doesn’t appear for me when I taste it. I initially tried the Maple Bacon Proof Syrup in an Old-fashioned and can't say I loved it. Retrospectively, that may have been because I don' typically drink Old-Fashioneds.
Then I adapted my old family Manhattan recipe, to great success:
- 3 ounces Bulleit Rye
- 1.25 ounces Sweet Vermouth
- 0.5 ounces Maple Bacon Proof Syrup

Sent the Master Set to a good friend, he went crazy said it was the best stuff he has ever had. So I had to grab my bottle of Maple Bacin and see if he was correct, he was.... However I did one up on him, I added a frozen orange juice ice ball in my drink. Wow is that good, now I need to order the Master Set and continue my journey

Also no explanation of why it took so long so I'm not sure if I order another that it won't happen again. So even though I'm a repeat customer it makes me think twice about ordering more.

The syrup is a great time saver. I bought the Maple Bacon flavor and I don't taste either of those flavors in my Old Fashion. That said it does make a very acceptable drink. I cut the amount of Proof Syrup in half as I found it too sweet as suggested in recipe.

WOW! Proof really put did themselves with this. I will say I have not yet "smoked it" but that is on the horizon. I love my bourbon but every now and then you need to make a change to your drink and this is the way to deliver the best refreshing after dinner or with a cigar. Frankly, it is great just by itself.

The syrup is awesome - on par with the flavor of a well-made cocktail at our favorite bar. However, the delivery took 3X as long as they originally estimated - this was due to the holidays and production delays, which is understandable but disappointing. My husband loves it so we will give them another chance despite the delivery issues.

I did enjoy my Old Fashioned but I seriously doubt it was the Maple Bacon. Hope things are going better for your company with the fulfillment of orders. I'll be a one and done customer though.

I started with the Maple Bacon Proof, Woodford Reserve Cherries, and Devil's Cut Beam. Great! Later made bacon-infused 4 Roses Bourbon, some candied bacon, and smoked it with a mini-smoker. Oh my!! I love my bourbon but every now and then you need to make a change to your drink and this is the way to deliver the best refreshing after dinner or with a cigar. Frankly, it is great just by itself.

The syrup is awesome - on par with the flavor of a well-made cocktail at our favorite bar. However, the delivery took 3X as long as they originally estimated - this was due to the holidays and production delays, which is understandable but disappointing. My husband loves it so we will give them another chance despite the delivery issues.

Love Maple and Love Bacon.... was very excited to receive my Proof. Unfortunately, i taste neither of either in this product. It’s ok, still makes a nice Old Fashioned- but there is no maple or bacon flavor in here. Bummer!

It’s always nice to sit back & enjoy a traditional Old Fashioned! But, keeping up with all the ingredients & mixing all can be tedious! Proof Syrup gives the same taste as a traditional Old Fashioned, but with minimal effort and amazing, quality taste. I love the selection of flavors and all varieties are incredible.

I love the Proof product! I ordered a 3 pack on the Thursday before the Tampa Bay vs Green Bay game. It shipped that night and it arrived at my house on Sunday morning. It was perfect timing! I enjoyed a the cocktails and the game. I'm definitely going to order more Proof syrup flavors.

I did not find the maple flavor quite as pronounced as I might have liked. Nevertheless it still made a nice cocktail, especially when I enhanced it with a bit of cherry juice (not very traditional but very enjoyable!)

After finally receiving the order I tried it. I expected the Maple Bacon flavor to be subtle but I couldn't taste it at all. I almost think the bottle was mislabeled. I did enjoy my Old Fashioned but I seriously doubt it was the Maple Bacon. Hope things are going better for your company with the fulfillment of orders. I'll be a one and done customer though.

Love the taste, quality, and simplicity of Proof syrups. My first was with a great whiskey from the Belle Meade. Lately, I’ve been pairing the syrup with Knob Creek Smoked Maple to amp up the smoke (and the maple goes great with bacon)! Can’t wait to try more varieties of Proof Syrup!

I started with the Maple Bacon Proof, Woodford Reserve Cherries, and Devil's Cut Beam. Great! Later made bacon-infused 4 Roses Bourbon, some candied bacon, and smoked it with a mini-smoker. Oh my!! That took it to the next level. I'm hooked! (I also add a half slice of orange and a generous piece of orange peel). Just got the Original Proof last week and just as impressed. I love the traditional and was curious about the maple bacon and tried it. You all sent me another maple bacon to try... it’s just as great as the traditional as it tastes exactly the same. I understand the hint of flavor is small, but to me, it’s not recognized. However I will continue to buy the traditional as it’s absolutely wonderful. Thank you!

Product is ok. Trying hard to rate it just in the qualities of the product itself. If I was rating it on the terrible service of the company it would be one star at best. After ordering I didn’t hear anything from the company for over a month. No status updates or anything. Meanwhile they were continuing to advertise on social media and talk about shopping quickly. Terrible service. Product is ok but results in only an average drink. Doesn’t save much time or deliver much definitely not a good value.

I ordered the Maple Bacon and it came with a Maple Bacon label but didn’t taste like maple or bacon, it just tasted like regular Old Fashion mix (like orange). Very disappointed.
