Would like to see more recipes that do not call for exotic flavors or off the wall liquors. I’m 80 years young and am more familiar with traditional drinks. For instance: I prefer a manhattan drink “sweet”. I was disappointed with the samples provided; mixes were too strange/off-the-wall. Because your product is expensive the customer should be given the option to choose the flavors offered in keeping with their drinking tastes.

The trial set was great. The flavors are all individually distinct, but all wonderful. They are all distinctly an old fashioned, but with interesting and deep flavors. I am so glad I got the trial set, as I assumed I would prefer the traditional. Yet, after trying them, the traditional was third on my list behind Orange and Black Walnut. Honestly, if you or someone you know likes an old fashioned every now and then, this set is perfect. Also would make a great gift for most anyone.

It’s just OK. If you want to actually taste specific flavors, you have to put so much in that your drink tastes like cheap syrup. I’m general, there’s barely any flavor at all. Over the course of four visits with separate groups of friends, I have had to tell them every single time what the ‘flavor’ was. Even after that, they didn’t notice.

So its my first time trying Proof Syrup. I couldn't wait to try it. But must admit, I'm a little disappointed. I was expecting more of a wow factor especially for the price I paid for the mini set. I wouldn't say its bad. It's not. But I honestly couldn't taste the difference between the flavors. It felt like different levels of sweetness but no difference in taste. I'll use it all up because again it doesn't taste bad but for the price tag I'm definitely sticking to the original way of making these drinks. For the record, I used proof syrup to make old fashions.

I felt the syrups tasted bland. I didn't taste "maple bacon" or "orange" or "black walnut" in the cocktail nor when I tasted each straight up. They are flavorful and make a nice cocktail, they just didn't taste distinct.

While the syrups looked different when poured, they didn't have much differentiation in flavor. For instance, the bacon flavor had no bacon essence. I like the syrups, but could barely tell the difference between them.

The Old Fashioned is my cocktail of choice and I've been drinking them and making them for quite some time.
