Rocks Glass

  1. Coat rim of rocks glass with cinnamon sugar (if using); fill with ice and set aside.
  2. Measure tequila, lime juice, and both Proof Syrups into shaker; add ice and shake until well combined.
  3. Fill prepared glass with fresh ice, then strain cocktail into glass.
  4. Garnish as desired and serve.

  • If you like smoky cocktails, rinse glass with mezcal before filling. If you really like smoky cocktails, replace 1/2 oz all the way up to 2 oz of the tequila with your favorite mezcal.
  • If you prefer cocktails that are more tart than sweet, skip or use only a half-ounce of the Citrus Sour or Margarita.
  • Serve this margarita up, in a chilled coupe or martini glass, instead of on the rocks.
  • We can't say enough nice things about putting a cinnamon-sugar rim on whatever glass you serve in. It only sounds silly until you taste it.
