It’s like a hot toddy, but cold and spicy, and it’s delightful. The honey, lemon, ginger, and blended scotch create nice balance, but don’t neglect the details here, like the candied ginger garnish and the layer of aromatic Islay poured over the top.

Steps

  1. Measure blended scotch, Proof Syrups, and lemon juice into shaker; add ice and shake until well combined.
  2. Strain into ice-filled rocks glass and top with the Islay scotch.
  3. Garnish with candied or fresh ginger.
